Cancel vehicle registrations
Cancel registrations for up to 10 vehicles in a single transaction.
We’ve made cancelling the registration of vehicles registered to your company simpler. If you have one or more vehicle registrations that you wish to cancel, simply select ‘Registration Cancellation Application’ on your myVicRoads dashboard.
To submit the application:
- Select the vehicle registrations you want to cancel (up to 10 per transaction)
- Choose your reason for cancellation
- Upload the evidence required to support your application
- Advise if you would like a refund for any pro-rata unused portion of your registrations
- Submit your request
Upon submission, your vehicle(s) will be considered unregistered and should not be driven on the road.
If approved, your refund will be sent via cheque(s) to your nominated postal address within 4 weeks. You will be notified of the outcome of your submission via email to your registered email address.
