Helping disadvantaged young people gain supervised driving experience
The Starting Out Safely road safety education newsletter series has been developed for inclusion in early childhood service newsletters.
The 15 newsletter items include practical advice and evidence based information for parents and carers to help them to assist their children to be safe in the road environment. The newsletter items cover the topics of pedestrian safety, role modelling, child restraints and booster seats, safe play and resources.
The newsletter items are available to download in both colour and black and white.
Vision Australia and Guide Dogs Victoria have developed a road safety information sheet for parents and carers of children with vision impairments.
